Walsall Swimming Club are delighted to announce that Ian Davenport has returned home to his childhood club, Walsall to join the Coaching Team.
Ian will be a great addition to the team which will only be strengthened by his coaching experience and enthusiasm. Everybody at Walsall welcomes Ian’s return.

Ian was a member of Walsall S&WP Club for 40 years, both swimming and playing water polo.
He was in the Walsall team that won the National U/16 Water Polo Championship and captained Staffordshire Juniors and Seniors. He was also Midland District U/16 captain and played for both Midland U/20 and Senior teams.
Ian started coaching at Cannock Phoenix and then at the Royal Wolverhampton School under Marc Foster, where he completed his Level 1 and Level 2 qualifications.
For the past two and a half years Ian has been coaching County, Regional, and National swimmers at Wolverhampton SC alongside Head Coach Adam Johnson.
Once again, Welcome Home Ian.
