Maddie Hammond came 15th in the Under 13 Girls British Modern Biathlon Championships held today at Tudor Grange, Solihull.
This consists of a track run (1600m) then a separate 100m swim. Times for each discipline are then converted to points. Although she was slightly disappointed in her run, she recovered well and got a new PB in the swim (1:12.47). It's of course very competitive with the fastest swim being 1:03.30.
